This is the sample card for the challenge:

And this is my card:

Emboss It Challenge! Simon Wednesday Challenge Blog

I am here with a card I created for the Simon Wednesday Challenge blog.
This week Challenge is EMBOSS IT...
For this challenge I wanted to use some embossing paste, I don't use embossing paste very often because it is kind of messy for me, but this challenge pushed me to do it.
I had a Wendy Vecchi embossing paste I haven't had the chance to play with, so this challenge was the perfect excuse to use it and I love this embossing paste.

I started with Bazzil cardstock in the color Candy Necklace ( this is my new favorite color).
I used the Dots stencil from Heidi Swapp to embossed the cardstock.
I heat embossed some flowers from the stamp set Favorite Flowers from Simon Says Stamp and color the back of them with some markers.
I die cut a circle with the Standard circle large die from Spellbinders, on it I stamped the sentiment,
(one of my favorite sentiments), with the stamp set Words of Inspiration from My Favorite Things.

For the base of the card I used some Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and listo the card is done!

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great day!

                                ----------------------------------- {}----------------------------------

The Cutting Edge Challenge #4

I found a new challenge page to play and participate, is The Cutting Edge Challenge and I really like it!
The inspiration for the challenge is this card:

The card I made for the Challenge is this one:

I made the card with the same colors of the sample card but with a different design.
I used 2 dies from WPlus9, the Banner Trio die and The Spring Wreath.
For the sentiment, I used the Blue Note stamp set from Mama Elephant and Studio Calico.
I needed to put something black to the card, so I stamped with Black Versafine ink, some dots from the stamp set Big Bang Confetti from Winnie and Walter and put some glossy accents on top.
I had lots of fun making this card.
Hope you like it!
Until next time!

Card using Gloss Finish Paper... Thinking of You

I had some sheets of gloss finish paper from Ranger and for the longest time I had no idea how to use them. But the other day I read the package…( it says to use with alcohol inks), the only alcohol stuff I have are some copic markers, so… I gave it a try and this is the card I made:

I used 3 Copic colors B12, Y13,R20, painted the paper and the colors blended very easy.
I heat embossed the sentiment Thinking of you from the stamp set Sending Happy Thoughts from Simon Says Stamp, with Liquid Platinum from Ranger and die cut the glossy paper with the stitched border die of the Femme frames from Mama Elephant.

I finished my card with 3 butterflies and some pearl embellishments.

I hope you like the card of today.
Have a bless week!

Thank you for stopping by.

AEI♥U Challenge #11–One Word!

I made a card for this week AEI♥U Challenge at the Avery Elle Blog.

For the base of my card I used black cardstock because I wanted to make my card colorful, the black cardstock will help to bring this colors out.
Using the stamp set Circle It from Avery Elle, I stamped the circles strip with pigment inks from the Color Box pinwheel.
I die cut 2 circles with the standard circle dies from Spellbinders, stamped the sentiment Celebrate and  popped it up with foam adhesive to give dimension.
To finished my card, I put some glossy accents in some of the circles and listo!

Hope you like the card and have a good one.
Thank you for stopping by!

Simon Says... Spots and Dots Challenge!

Hello again!

I made a card for this week challenge at Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge, the theme this week is spots and dots.

I made my background with the circle stencil by Heidi Swapp and some Viva modeling cream.
I used one of the Band-Aids die from Paper Smooches, I also used the stamp set Get Well Soon and the coordinating die from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and die cut it with the frame cuts tag die from Hero Arts.
For the base of my card I used some Taffy Bazzill cardstock and listo!

I hope you like the card.
Take care!

Lawn Fawn Get Well Soon...

Hey everyone!

I hope everything is going fine this week for all of you.
I have a card I made this morning with the stamp set Get well Soon from Lawn Fawn.

This little stamp set is adorable, I love the happy face, you can put it on the bandaid or in other image you have. :)

I wanted to keep this card simple but cute. I started stamping the sentiment on white cardstock with black versafine ink and die cut it with the stitched border die from the femme frames from Mama Elephant.
I stamped the bandaid image 3 times in watercolor paper and painted with distress markers (mowed lawn, mustard seed and peacock feathers), die cut the images with the coordinating die and popped them up with foam adhesive.
To finished the card I used Neenah desert storm cardstock for the base and glued the front layer of the card.

I made this card thinking in my brother Gerardo, he is a little sick. Hope he Gets Well Soon!
Thank you!

Hola a todos!

Espero esten bien.

Boat birthday card...

I made a card today for a cute little boy who's birthday is tomorrow, he likes all boy things like cars, super heroes and boats.
So I wanted to make a card with a boat and waves, I have been wanting to try my tidal waves edger paper punch from EK Success and finally I did!
I wanted to include a boat in the card, the problem was that I don't have any boat dies or stamps, (I have to remember to buy one next paycheck ;)

Anyhow, I made this boat with a triangle shape and a half circle with my Cricut cutting machine. I put some eyelets to give it a more realistic look to the boat.
For the sentiment, I used the Birthday Balloons stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, heat embossed with the Liquid Platinum from Ranger on a layer of vellum.

I hope you like it.

Have great day!
