Happy Easter cards

Hello, Hello!

Welcome to my blog!
I am back after a month :$ (time past so fast) with 2 cards I made with the March 2016 Simon Says Stamp card kit. My favorite thing about this card kit is that it comes with matching dies! (awesome!)

Here are some pictures of my cards:

This card is 8.5" long and 3.5" wide, I wanted to make a different card size.
I used the card kit and My favorite Things Easter Bunny stamp set and Fresh cut grass die.

For the second one, I used Hello die by Simon says Stamp and die cut on glitter black foam.

Love, love, love this card kit.
Now I am off to watch the Oscars!

Hope you like my cards today and they inspire you to make some of your own!
Have a great week!

Hugs,

Magaly

Hello Beautiful! Simon Says Stamp February card kit!

Hello everyone!!

I am back with a cute card I made with the Simon Says Stamp February card kit.
It is a great kit, it has stickers, a stamp set, sequins... I love everything in it!!!

I made 2 cards as soon as the kit arrived to my mailbox! :)
The kit comes with lots of goodies, my favorite is the little hearts die.
I die cut my 110 lb white paper with the heart die to make my background.

In the base part of the card, I put some pink distress ink with my blending tool concentrating the color in the center of my paper and fading the color going out the paper.

I glued the die cut piece of paper on top of the blended color paper.
The sentiment, Hello Beautiful, is heat embossed on vellum with Ranger's Liquid Platinum.
To finish the card, I glued 3 hearts that I die cut from the background and colored them with the same distress ink

With the second card, I used My Favorite Things Staggered Hearts stencil with embossing paste. After that I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum like I did in the first card.
To finish the card, I glue some of the die hearts and color them with die ink.

And that's all I have for today, I hope you like the cards and inspires you to make your own version of cards.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Many hugs,

Magaly

Sharing cards! Handmade Kindness Challenge...

Hello!

I wanted to share with you some cards I made for the Card Shower than Jennifer Mcguire is doing at her website. She asked to send happy cards to 2 kids that are battling cancer. What a great idea and a great honor to do this for these children to put a smile on their faces. I involved my kids in this awesome challenge too.
If you want to participate in the challenge and want more information, please click here.

I made to cards for my kids to write a message and send them to this wonderful kids, but my daughter Isabella really wanted to make one by herself so I have 3 cards to share.

My Daughter Isabella made this card, she is 5 years old.

For these cards I used the Tiny Heroes and Honey Bunny stamp sets by Mama Elephant, Copics Markers, Bazzill cardstock and lots of love!

Christmas Cards

Hello everyone!

I have been very busy with my new job and the family for the last month, trying to adjust to the new work schedule, balancing family and other things going on.
Good thing that I have this week off and I can play with my goodies! (Woot, woot.)

I made two Christmas cards yesterday, I am participating in the Secret Santa at the Hero Arts Flickr group. I am going to send a little gift with a card to a person that I don't know and I haven't meet before. This is so exciting for me, I don't have crafty friends so this is an awesome opportunity for me to meet new people that share the same hobby.

These are the cards I made:

I'm not sure which one I'm going to send her yet! I hope she likes it!:)

For the cards I used Hero Arts Family and Friends Stamp set and Christmas messages stamp set.
Delicata pigment ink in gold, Hero Arts die inks, Bazzil card stock and Simon Says Stamp gold embossing powder.
I'm also participating in the Share Handmade Kindness at Jennifer McGuire's Blog

I hope you like the cards today.
Have a Happy Thanks Giving!

Hello card made with Simon Says Stamp card kit!

Hello everyone!

I have been super busy at home and in my new job! I am sorry I have not posted any new project in my blog! I have been adapting at this new schedule with my family and it is great to be able to be back at the work force. (happy dance)

My SSS October card kit arrived this week and I was so excited about all the goodies that come in it and the bright colors of the pattern papers and card stock. It is really a good one folks!
Here is the link to the card kit.

For this card I used the pattern paper that comes in the kit, it is really beautiful.
The kit also comes with a Hello word die, I used it to die cut the word Hello with white cardstock.
I put some Wink of Stella and glossy accents to give it more interest.

At the bottom of the heart I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set that comes in the kit.

To finish the card I glued some sequins and put a golden bow on top of the heart and my card is done!
I hope you guys like the card and inspires you to make your own version!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week! :)
See you soon!
