Happy 8th birthday Esteban!

Hello and TGIF!!!!

November is a busy month for me, I have 2 birthdays to plan, my husband's and my son Esteban 5 days after my husband's birthday.

My son is going to be 8 years old on Sunday, I'm so happy to see him grow everyday but at the same time it is kind of sad because it goes so fast, I remember like it was yesterday when I brought him home from the hospital! (snif) I am thankful to God for give me the opportunity to be his Mom.

I made him a very special shaker card. I got the inspiration from this post on Pinterest!
I used my Cricut machine to cut the number 8 and the letters "th". I put some acetate on the holes of the number eight and put some foam tape for the shaker part of the card.

For the base of my card I used Recollections 110lb white card-stock and stamped with the stars from the Simon Says Stamp set Birthday Balloons.
For the banner I used the Simple Banner die from Memory Box and the Happy word die from Simon Says Stamp. For the name Esteban, I used Milo's ABCs from Lawn Fawn.

I hope you like the card of today, have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you for stopping by.

Happy birthday to my husband!

Hi!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great day today.

Today is my husband's birthday and he is also a Veteran, so is a double celebration for him!
I made this card for him to celebrate this special day.
I also want to say thank you to all the members of the military of The United States of America and all the veterans for your service!

The card is very simple and is stamped in a one layer piece of white cardstock that I put on top of a  black card base.
For this card I used:

Easter Bunny stamp set from My Favorite Things
Versafine black ink
Simon Says Stamps Dye Inks in Green Leaf, Sunshine, Audrey Blue.
Stampabilities silver pigment ink.

I hope you enjoy the card!
Thank you for stopping by.

Merry and Bright card!

Hello!

I'm back with a card I made with the Simon Says Stamp November 2014 Card kit.
I love the pattern paper from Lawn Fawn that comes with the kit, the colors are great, fresh and different.

For this card I used the the Tag a Lot die set from Mama Elephant to die cut a piece of red paper and glued the Merry and bright tag. With the Lil 'inker Design Stitched Mat die I cut a rectangle from white paper and stamped the snow with the stamp set Be Joyful from Simon Says Stamp that comes with the kit and heat embossed it with Ranger Holographic embossing powder.
I glued all that to a pice of pattern paper and to the card base.

To finish the card I glued some snowflake sequins that came in the kit.
And my card is done! I hope you like my card and I hope it inspires you to use the kit and make your own creations with the kit or whatever you have at home!
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a great day!

Hola!

Gracias!
