Hello everyone!
I hope that you are having a great week so far.
I had a busy couple of weeks but I am back on track! Sorry about that. :)
I made a birthday card for my nephew Orlando, he turned 6 years old last week and I wanted to make a special card for him.
When I saw the little boy super hero in this Mama Elephant Tiny Hero stamp set, I immediately though about him. :)
For this card, I cut my Bazzill paper in whirlypop color to 11" by 4 1/4" inch and scored the paper to 3 1/4" by 2 1/4".
I cut the layered paper to 1/4" less to fit on the base. I used the stars in the stamp set to stamp on the layer paper with blue, yellow and perfect pearls.
I punched some holes and made a bow with some twine.
For the inside, I stamped the little boy with Versafine Black Onyx ink and painted it with copics.
I masked the boy and with the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio dies and made some stencils with the clouds die and the hills die. I used some Distressed Ink Mowed Lawn and Broken China to paint with the stencils the grass and the clouds.
For the balloons I used the Year Four stamp set from Lawn Fawn and painted them with copics.
I stamped the sentiment in red from the same stamp set. To finished the card and continue with the pattern in the front of the card, I stamped some stars with Perfect Pearls.
I hope you like my card and it inspires you to make one of your own.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Magaly
