2 ways to color a die cut!

Hello,

Thank you for joining me today.

I bought this beautiful Kensington Branch die by Memory Box and I was thinking of ways to use it.
Looking around my craft room I found some gloss finish paper which you can paint with copics or any alcohol inks. I decided to use it with this project!
I cut the die on this gloss finish paper, I painted the die however I liked with my topic markers and glued on a white piece of paper. I used the border die Adorning Accents by Stampin' Up! to die cut the white paper and give it an interesting finish. After that I glued it onto my card base. Put some embellishments on the flowers and around the card. To finish the card, I used the sentiment from the Everyday Sayings stamp set by Hero Arts and I used some Ranger's Liquid Platinum Embossing powder to give it a gorgeous and elegant look.

I love the glossy paper look! It is so cute. The little bow is by Waffle Flower.

For the last card, instead of Gloss Finish paper I used some watercolor paper to cut the die and painted it with my awesome distress markers.
For the sentiment I used Altenew Label Love stamp set.

I think both cards are cute in their on way.
I hope you like the cards, thank you for stopping by my blog!
Have a great day.

Balloon Shaker card!

 Hello my friends!

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday so far!
I'm back with a card I made with some Simon Says Stamp products.

I love shaker cards they make me smile, happy and shake them of course!
I die cut a piece of paper with the Balloon dies by simon says Stamp and the scallop die from the Femme Frames by Mama Elephant.

I painted the inside of the ballon with distress ink and stamp the sentiment that way you can see it through the window.

It is a simple card but so cute, I wanted to leave it all white that way the focus goes to the shaker part.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

New card! You fill my day with Sunshine!

Hello and happy Monday!

Summer is officially here and in Texas the days are hotter than ever! With the kids all day at home it is very hard to find the time to make cards. Do you guys have the same problem? :*
Anyhow, I wanted to share with you a card I made a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to make a sunny card very quick.
I painted with distress ink a piece of white cardstock, for the sky I used Broken China and for the grass I used Shabby Shutters. For the clouds I used Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste.

I cut a circle with the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles and painted with distress ink Mustard seed using the blending tool.
For the sentiment, I used The Color and Sunshine stamp set by Simon Says Stamp.
For the base paper I used the Femme Frames by Mama Elephant!

That's it for today I hope you enjoy the card.
I hope your days are full of sunshine and not to much heat this week!
Have a great day!
