PTI Make It Monday Challenge!

I was at the Papertrey Ink Blog today and I saw the Make It Monday Challenge is about paper scraps, ( this will be my first challenge ever) so I read that and got super excited about it, I started to make my card right away.
After I finished my card I realized the scraps had to be in a pie chart :(.
I wanted to share my card anyway.

I made this card thinking about my wonderful sister! I am grateful to God and so blessed for having her as a sister and a friend.

I made my card with scrap paper from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss Pad, I cut a bunch of strips, cut the end in an angle and glued them into some scrap paper. I used the Movers and Shaker Sentiments Stamp set , I really like this stamp set, you can mix and match sentiments, it is great!
Put some butterflies  from the Beautiful Wings embosslits from Stamping up and listo!

Estaba en el  Papertrey Ink Blog y vi que habia un desafío con papel sobrante y ya que tengo mucho papel sobrante, me puse las pilas y decidí hacer una tarjeta para entrar en el desafío. ( nunca he participado en un desafío) Después de terminar mi tarjeta me di cuenta que había que usar el papel sobrante en forma de un gráfico circular :(
Igual quiero compartirla con ustedes.

Hice esta tarjeta pensando en mi maravillosa hermana! Le agradezco a Dios por bendecirme con una hermana y amiga como ella.

Hice esta tarjeta con papel de Simple Stories Vintage Bliss, lo corte en tiras y pegue a otro papel de base, corte en angulo el final del papel luego pegue todo eso en un papel blanco. Utilice los sellos de Movers and Shaker Sentiments Stamp set, me encanta este set, puedes jugar con los sellos y construir las frases que quieras.
Puse unas mariposas de  Beautiful Wings embosslits from Stamping up y listo!

All boy card

Hello and happy Monday!

This past weekend I received my May 2014 Simon Says Stamp Card kit, so today I am going to share a card I made using the card kit.

For me is a challenge to make a masculine/boy card, I love sparkles and girly embellishments. :)
But with this lovely Simon Says Stamp set All Boy ( and of course the card kit) it is not hard at all.

I started with blue card stock for the base of the card and pattern paper included in the kit, I stamped both sayings with VersaMark water mark and embossed it with Zing black embossing powder. I fussy cut it and stick it on the blue banner I made.
I stamped and painted the shoes with copic markers and paint some mud on the shoes with some distress ink. To finished the card I glue some white enamel dots and listo!

Este fin de semana recibí mi May 2014 Simon Says Stamp Card kit, hoy quiero compartir un tarjeta que hice con este kit.

Para mi es muy difícil hacer una tarjeta masculina o para niños, me encanta la escarcha y los adornos muy femeninos, pero con este kit y el set de sellos de Simon Says Stamp All Boy no se me hizo tan difícil.

Comencé con papel azul oscuro para la base de la tarjeta y papel que vino en el kit, luego stampe las 2 frases con VersaMark ink y puse polvo negro para embossing. Hice una banderilla y ahi puse las 2 frases y las zapatillas que pinte con Copics. Para que se vea sucio el zapato pinte con tinta de Distress. Y listo! Espero les guste.

My very first post!

Hi Everyone,

Like the title says, this is my first post. I am excited and nervous at the same time, hopefully you will be nice with me and like what I do :).

I love to make handmade cards, I started my little hobby last year and I really love it!
So I wanted to share a card with you today.

I made this Mother's Day Card using the Lilinkers Designs Mom Word Die and Simon Says Stamp Thinking of You stamp set which I embossed with white Zing embossing powder.
For the base of the card I used white shimmer paper and embossed with the Fular folder from Cuttlebug and Anna Griffin ( it is one of my favorites) and for the little banner in the middle I used the DCWV Shimmer card stock stack in the peach color.
To finish the card I put some flowers I bought and listo!

I hope you like the card, it is very simple and cute.
